Membership Categories

Classes of Members

There are three categories of members at Pekin Country Club. They are Golfing Members, Clubhouse Members, and Social Members. Golfing Members are subcategorized into four types, Legacy Junior, Junior, Intermediate, and Regular.

Regular Golf Members (40 & Over)

A person forty of age and older may be an Regular Golf member. Regular Golf members have full access to the clubhouse, swimming pool, and golf course.

Regular Golf members have full voting rights.

Intermediate Golf Members (31-39)

A person thirty one years of age and under thirty nine years of age may be an Intermediate member. Intermediate members have full access to the clubhouse, swimming pool, and golf course.

Upon the date of the Junior members’ fortieth birthday shall cease to be an Intermediate member and shall be elected a Regular member, as the case may be, and shall pay the dues of a Regular member beginning with the month following that birthday.

Intermediate members have no voting rights.

Junior Golf Members (21-30)

A person twenty one years of age and under thirty-one years of age may be a Junior member. Junior members have full access to the clubhouse, swimming pool, and golf course.

Upon the date of the Junior members’ thirty first birthday shall cease to be a Junior member and shall be elected an intermediate member, as the case may be, and shall pay the dues of an Intermediate member beginning with the month following that birthday.

Junior members have no voting rights.

Legacy Junior Golf Members (21-30)

A person twenty one years of age, under thirty-one years of age, and either a child or grandchild of a PCC member may be a Legacy Junior member. Legacy Junior members have full access to the clubhouse, swimming pool, and golf course. Legacy Junior members are exempt from Capital Fund fees and special assessments.

Upon the date of the Legacy Junior members’ thirty first birthday shall cease to be a Legacy Junior member and shall be elected an intermediate member, as the case may be, and shall pay the dues of an Intermediate member beginning with the month following that birthday.

Legacy Junior members have no voting rights.

 

Clubhouse Members

A person twenty-one years of age or over may be elected a Clubhouse member. Clubhouse members shall be entitled to the privileges of the clubhouse only, subject to such regulations as the Board of Directors may from time to time prescribe.

Social Members

A person twenty-one years of age or over may be elected a Social member. Social members shall be entitled to the privileges of the clubhouse and swimming pool, subject to such regulations as the Board of Directors may from time to time prescribe.
